BKBCE has five hostel blocks, each of which is equipped with two common rooms. The boarding school common room within the sprawling campus have been uniquely designed to be not just comfortable but also provide a homely atmosphere to the students residing here. The interiors of each common room are uniquely designed keeping in mind the age group of the students residing in that particular hostel. The colour scheme used is also thoughtfully chosen to exude warmth.

For example, the younger boy’s common room is more colourful with artwork of elephants and sportsmen. The senior students have common rooms designed to suit their interests – studies and sports.

Each common room is equipped with a television and space for group study and discussion. The television has pre-set channels that are educative, informative, and entertaining. Apart from comfortable chairs, there are spaces for students to gather.
