INTER HOUSE RANGOLI MAKING COMPETITION

The Rangoli colours play a big role in bringing out the festive spirit during celebrations. Therefore, to
promote this traditional art form amongst our students, an Inter-House Rangoli making competition
was conducted in B. K Birla Centre for Education, Pune on 1st September, 2022, Thursday.
Eight to nine students from each house, namely Agni, Prithvi, Vyom and Salil participated.
They had to make a Rangoli based on the
Topic/Theme: Ganesh Utsav
Suggested concepts: *Portraying various forms of Lord Ganesha *Symbolic version of Lord Ganesha projecting life lessons, Social issues, global issues etc.
The time duration was between 4:15 pm and 6:15 pm in the auditorium of the school in front of the Ganesha idol.

Vyom house won this competition with a good margin. They scored the highest marks in overall presentation and neatness. The Prithvi house came second, followed by the Agni house and Salil house.
All the teams put in their best efforts and after the competition the area close to the stage was sparkling with such beautiful use of colours and designs which added to the festive galore. Organizing such events helps students to remain in close touch with their culture. This Rangoli making competition motivated the students to perform and outshine in their creative skills and most important, work as a team to bring laurels to their house.
