IT Infrastructure
BKBCE takes privilege in providing outstanding information and computer technologies. We have two spacious IT laboratories,along with a Teacher Resource Centre where teachers can maintain their records and avail any IT services. The school has provided computers in each department so that intra-departmental work can be done efficiently.
BKBCE has an internet connection of 100 Mbps. The academic and hostel blocks are Wi-Fi ready. Birlites can do research and project work in the hostel itself.
Each hostel block has been provided with 4 computer systems for email and carrying out academic, co-curricular and researchwork.
Each classroom is ready with its own Tata Senses Class Smartboard. Faculties can access permitted sites and keep our Birlites abreast with current happenings in and around the world. This makes teaching more effective and absorbing.
Our IT Department has prepared different servers to take care of different activities.
(i) Audio / Video Server – All schools photographs and videos are kept here. Any faculty can access for their official use.
(ii) Back-Up Server – To navigate an emergency, BKBCE is ready with back-up facility. All important and critical information of important departments like Accounts and Examination have their records backed up periodically.
(iii) Application Server– This server is used to compute intensive operations like video and media editing.
BKBCE has taken extra care to prevent and protect any malicious attempt to their internal internet connectivity and important departments by installing Firewall and other safety measures to ensure no data breach happens.
