Outdoor games
Games form an important part of the daily activity at the B.K Birla Centre for Education. In Pune, it is considered the best school with excellent facility for outdoor games. Students are expected to participate in sports everyday for an hour. They are given the option to choose two games from more than 11 games practiced in the school with swimming being a compulsory session once a week. BKBCE has three well maintained football grounds, one cricket ground plus a hockey ground. We also have a rifle shooting range and an archery pavilion.
Apart from this, the school also has three courts each for basketball, tennis and volleyball respectively. The school also has a horse riding arena where interested students are provided coaching. Outdoor activities like field and track events, badminton, cricket, football, basketball, horse riding and tennis help students stay active and healthy.
Indoor games
BK Birla Centre for Education offers its students a number of options when it comes to indoor games. From billiards and excellent skating facility to chess and the popular carrom, all games that promote team spirit and healthy competition are encouraged among students. Every day, one hour is allocated for sports with additional time in the week for swimming. Apart from this, students can opt to play any sport during their free time as well.
The campus has an international size wooden skating rink and a 25mtr swimming pool. The auditorium building houses courts for basketball. Apart from this there is an indoor games area which has two billiard tables, four table tennis tables, five carrom boards and several chess boards. It also houses the gymnasium that is available to students of Class VIII upwards.
Auditorium has 3 synthetic and the Indoor stadium has 3 wooden badminton courts. We also have an indoor volleyball and basketball court.
Music
Music is a part of life at the BK Birla Centre for Education with every student encouraged to choose from a wide range of Indian and Western instruments. BKBCE is one of the few CBSE school with music training being part of the curriculum. The school owns congos, tablas, guitars, harmonium, keyboard, octopad, drums and dholak. Two teachers – a vocal coach and an instrument coach – provide training. Besides music lessons, students are encouraged to form vocal and instrumental groups ranging from a school-level orchestra to well-informed bands.
The school frequently invites musicians to perform at its modern, well-equipped auditorium. Students plan and participate in various in-house music competitions too. Such events helps to discover and nurture latent talents, helping them blossom.
Hobby clubs
At the BK Birla Centre for Education students are encouraged to take up hobbies that are of interest to them. It has Nineteen hobby clubs that students can opt from. Every student has to be a member of one club with the membership granted at the beginning of the academic year. Students may change their clubs at the end of a term if they wish to do so. Hobby sessions are held every Saturday from 12 noon.

Yoga and jogging
The BK Birla Centre for Education places great emphasis on the overall health and fitness of its students. It is for this reason that the school has various facilities and amenities to encourage regular exercise. Apart from the various sports that students partake in, fitness at the school means a physical training session for an hour every morning for yoga and jogging alternately. This morning session of exercise refreshes, relaxes and prepares students for the day ahead.
