Rangoli is the expression of an artistic vision through the joyful use of colours. The colourful patterns drawn on the doorsteps are not just for decorative purposes; they embody a deep religious spirit too. Rangoli is not meant for mere beautification but is supposed to prevent evil as well.
Keeping this vibrant and colourful tradition alive, the talented and artistic Birlites participated in the inter house Rangoli Competition held on the August 1, 2015.All four houses presented colourful patterns and themes. Prithvi House impressed the judges and emerged as the winner of the competition. While Salil and Vyom House bagged the same second position, Agni House stood third. All students gave their best performance.
