Participants collaborate in teams to design robots that solve challenging problem statements. The competition is held in two categories – Tele Rescuer and Auto Rescuer. Tele Rescuer or remote-controlled is a manual category with student up to grade 6 while Auto Rescuer has students up to grade 10. Class VI students Saket Sultani, Atharva Pawar and Aditya Roy controlled their robot with a remote while Class VIII students Dhairya Saluja, Steve John and Jay Shinde participated in the Auto Rescuer.This event also provide an opportunity to meet similar enthusiasts from other schools. There were about 220 schools from India and abroad that participated in the event with only 70 schools that qualified for the finals.
