The exhibits were shown to the students on the first day and the next day were put up for judgement. The Chief Guest was Infosys’s principal consultant Mr Dattatraya Parle and the judges were Mr Sarith Bhattacharya and Mr Mukund Bagal.The schools that participated were High Vision School, Talegaon; City Pride International School; Akshara International School; Vidya Niketan School, Pimpri (Tata Motors); Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Pune; St Andrew’s High School, Chinchwad; and BKBCE.
The third position was bagged by BKBCE students, Jeet Rajde and Devansh Dedhia, for their project titled – ‘Cost Effective Hydrail’. The project titled – ‘Safety at Unmanned Railway Crossings’ put up by the budding scientists from City Pride International School won the second position. Again BKBCE won the first position for their project titled – ‘The Paani (water) Filter’ put up by Rakshit Mittal and Aniket Badave.In a nutshell, they were a fascinating two days that witnessed young scientists from in and around Pune in action.
