8th G.D. Birla Thought Conclave

To commemorate the centenary of Gandhiji and G.D. Birla ji’s association, the B.K. Birla Centre for Education organized the 8th G.D. Birla Thought Conclave on the 02nd October 2016. Eight schools from all across India participated in it. The Conclave witnessed a plethora of activities and accomplishments. The opening ceremony kicked off the event to a grand start. After which the enthusiastic participants faced the preliminary round of the multi-faceted Debate Competition followed by its final round. The post lunch session witnessed the Short Play Enactment and Creative Writing Contest in the Auditorium and IT Lab respectively.

The young contestants displayed immense potential and vigour across all trials and came out in flying colours making the event a grand success.The closing ceremony was held at the end of the day. The occasion was graced by the presence our Creative Mentor – Mr. Parnab Mukherjee as the guest of honour and moderator.
